Here at Bacon Academy we have two assistant principals! Mrs. Begué and Ms. Cyr.
Mrs. Begué joined the BA Family on November 18th, 2015 as an assistant principal. She attended Keene State College and has taught math in Rockville and South Windsor High Schools. Outside of school, Mrs. Begué enjoys hiking, zumba, and motorcycle rides with her husband. She views Bacon Academy as wonderful school with a great student body, and an incredible staff with true dedication. As an assistant principal, Begué would like to develop an academic support system for students of all academic abilities. We look forward to seeing what other great things Mrs. Begué will do for Bacon Academy!
Our newest assistant principal Ms. Cyr became a Bobcat on July 1st, 2016. She attended Boston College and Uconn and was formerly a special ed teacher, and a principal in Willimantic. She even taught in New York City for 4 years. Outside of school, Ms. Cyr enjoys reading, running, camping, being a mom and a Uconn Huskies fan! She sees Bacon as a school with many elective opportunities and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As an assistant principal, Ms. Cyr would like to work on making electives more accessible to students while also taking core classes.
