The month of October is recognized by Pink October. It’s a campaign to influence women who are over 40 years to get their breast exam to have early detection of breast cancer and to give support and power for women who have breast cancer.

Influenced by this campaign, on October 19, the Bacon Academy Volleyball team had a Dig Pink Game, where the girls wear pink T-shirts, sell foods, made a poster with the breast cancer symbol with powerful messages to women.

On October 20, during a Ding Pink game, the varsity team played against the Bacon Academy staff. It was a really fun game and the Junior Varsity Team played against the Freshmen team. The Bacon Academy Volleyball team is grateful to make this game and always is willing to give support!
