On Friday, September 20, over 130 countries worldwide joined together to form one of the largest environmental protests in history. This strike came just three days before the Climate Action Summit, and its purpose was to draw attention to inaction on the detrimental effects of climate change. 16 year old Greta Thunberg is in the front lines of these protests, demanding change for our generation. Thunburg has had a large voice among those crying out for reform, speaking at a UN Conference and before the US Congress. She is a defining role model of our generation, one that likely must deal with some consequences of environmental change. Either by being a supporter or a protester, there are many ways you can join the ranks and defend our right to live in a world unburdened by detrimental catastrophe. Start by visiting globalclimatestrike.net, and joining the cause!
